The main strip in Laughlin is called Casino Center Drive, which runs north south and and all of the big name casinos are located along S Casino Center Drive.

At the south end is Harrah’s Laughlin and at the north end is Don Laughlin’s Riverside.  Here’s a map, so that you can better understand where the casinos are located.

Here is a brief rundown on the casinos;

Harrah’s Laughlin

Located at the south end of Casino Center Drive.  It’s a very nice property with three hotel towers and is the second largest proprty in Laughlin. There are ample non-smoking rooms and you can bring your pets, up to two, as long as they under 50 pounds.  Dogs must be created when you are not in the room and when housekeeping comes in so you need to bring your own or the hotel staff can provide you with info to rent one.  Harrah’s has just about every amenity you can imagine and boasts an great outdoor Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater.  Harrah’s Laughlin is very self-contained and is not on the river walk, therefore and you cannot easily walk to the other hotels and casinos.  Just to get out of the property you have to climb a lot of steep steps. The good news is that it is only a very short ride if you use the water taxi’s.

River Palms

The River Palms is the closest hotel casino to Harrah’s and the beginning of the river walk. The River Palms has invested some money in their rooms so the rooms are much better than when it was the Gold River.  They are now owned by the Tropicana Entertainment , which own the Tropicana Laughlin. The River Palms attracts many bus tour groups and their buffet has a reputation as “icky”

Golden Nugget

The Golden Nugget is a great little gem in Laughlin. They have some great restaurants including Joe’s Crab Shack and The deli, where you can get huge, overstuffed sandwiches. They also have a very nice online promo where you can play poker for free and have a chance to win prizes including hotel stays.

The Pioneer is not the most luxurious place in Laughlin but it sure is a lot of fun!  They have lot of promotions and even “Beer Pong”.  They have a great restaurant called Granny’s.  Years ago Granny’s featured a very elegant Sunday buffet that was the absolute best in Laughlin and you couldn’t get in unless you had reservations . Granny’s has a new menu. They are open Thursday through Saturday for dinner for casually elegant Fine Dining

Colorado Belle

The “Belle’ is a replica of a 19th century Mississippi paddle wheel riverboat. They have a Captains suite located on the top level of the boat, with the living area extending above the top floor. The 2 level Captain’s Suite is the largest hotel room in the Belle coming in at approximatedly 1,000 sq ft. They have 2 swimming pools that are open year round.

The Tropicana, formerly the Tropicana Express, is the only hotel located on the other side (west side) of the street. That means you cannot get the river taxi at the Tropicana, however you just need to cross the street and catch it from one of the other hotels.

The Edgewater is located near all the Laughlin action and has a 24 hour restaurant and bakery.  Also, if you are a member of the slot club, you receive discounts of 50% off on the buffet when paying with either your points or cash. The Edgewater and Colorado Belle are sister properties.

The Aquarius Casino Resort is located right in the heart of the river walk path and is Laughlin’s largest resort.  Like Harrah’s, the Aquarius also features an outdoor amphitheater. They are located right across the street from the outlet mall and movie theaters.

Don Laughlin’s Riverside is where it all began and Laughlin’s first casino is still going strong. They feature all of the amenities of a typical Las Vegas Hotel Casino and then some. Youc an also catch the river taxi from the Riverside that will take you into Bullhead City, Arizona – just a short ride away.
